**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Systems Engineer to join our team at Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for assisting with the design and verification of our medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with MRI technology, specifically with Philips, GE, or Siemens magnets. A solid understanding of MRI physics and experience with image processing and data analysis using standard tools such as Excel and MATLAB are essential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to the development of system requirements and specifications of our medical devices.
- Create, update, and execute test procedures.
- Coordinate system-level activities as part of design development and testing of our products.
- Develop, test, and optimize MRI sequences for various MRI models.
- Contribute to the hardware and software designs of our devices.
- Perform verification MRI testing and writing verification reports.
- Investigate product complaints, perform root cause analysis of failures, and propose remediation in a timely fashion.
**Requirements:**
- University degree in Engineering or Science.
- 3+ years of experience working with MRI technology.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MATLAB, and Windows proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
