Job Description

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry as a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada.

You will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintaining and zoning the Dairy Frozen area, and assisting with stocking and the sale of goods.

  • Zone the department regularly to ensure maximum efficiency and product visibility.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products on a daily basis to maintain quality and freshness.
  • E nsure all merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and confusion.
  • Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers.
  • F ollow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to optimize inventory and minimize waste.

The physical demands of this job require regular walking or standing, lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs, performing tasks involving firm grasping, bending, twisting, or squatting, and frequent repetitive hand actions. Additionally, the work environment may involve moderate noise levels and exposure to cold freezer/cooler air temperatures.

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 16 years old and have sufficient coordination to perform tasks such as placing and screwing in small washers on bolts, picking up paper clips, etc.
