Job Title: Credit Manager

Fed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 8 employees, training, coaching, and daily management to increase employee performance and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise account opening process and customer master file management.
  • Manage legal files, lawyers, collection agencies, bankruptcies, and complex cases.
  • Manage and collect major accounts and export sales.
  • Review and analyze financial situations of new and existing customers.
  • Establish credit limits and payment terms.
  • Supervise order release processes.
  • Oversee release processes and act as substitute when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years' professional experience as a credit supervisor or manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or other relevant training.
  • Diploma from the Credit Institute of Canada.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and MS Office suite.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Get Paid collection software (an asset).
  • Experience working in the distribution or construction sector (an asset).
  • Experience in a large group (an asset).
  • Experience in a highly computerized environment (an asset).
