Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality food standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Establish work schedules and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
