Telecommunications Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at CasCom. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems. You will work with a variety of technologies, including fiber optic cables, copper cables, and wireless communication systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems
- Test and troubleshoot telecommunications systems to identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless system operation
- Document and report on system performance and issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in telecommunications or a related field an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in telecommunications or a related field
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
