We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Construction Painter to join our team at AML Painting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
Requirements
  • Member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) or equivalent certification.
  • Painter and Decorator Trade Certification.
  • Working at heights training.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Painter and Decorator Red Seal Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with airless spray equipment, brush painting, and roller painting.
  • Knowledge of moisture gauges, holiday detectors, and other testing equipment.
  • Experience with water/hydroblasting, steam cleaning, and sandblasters.
  • Knowledge of fire retardants, multi-color finishes, urethanes, tank linings, and paint spraying.
  • Experience with staining and wall covering specialization, including vinyl.
