Security Guard Team Lead

Vista Security & Investigations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our security guards and ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security guards, ensuring they are performing their duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist clients and guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their safety and security.
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the safety and security of all individuals involved.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, ensuring they are meeting their performance targets.
- Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- CPR Certificate.
- Security Guard License.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Work under pressure.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
