Job Summary

Fountain Tire, a reputable commercial business, is seeking a reliable and skilled Laborer to join their team in Sudbury. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating tires and wheels, as well as maintaining safety courses and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Complete specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions:

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are rewarded
  • Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 50KG is required
  • This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc., and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
  • This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling

Requirements:

  • Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
  • A valid G2 driver's license is required at a minimum; those with G1 licenses will not be considered
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
