About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician (avionics) to join our dynamic team at Starlink Aviation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks assigned by the coordinator, including repairs, overhauls, and modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment.
  • Adhere to procedures contained in the maintenance policy manual and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Perform and coordinate the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company aircraft and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft issues and contribute to the rectification of deficiencies found during routine inspections or reported by a crew after a flight.
  • Build, calibrate, and maintain control boxes or panels, and perform tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure personal safety and that of colleagues and customers, and keep technical and health/safety training records up to date.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Transport Canada Category E AME license.
  • Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools, and have a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals, and be eligible for obtaining a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status, and a Class 5 driver's license.

Your Skills

  • Good communication skills (French and English), and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with great attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, and be part of an experienced and dynamic team.
