Job Title: Maintenance Services Worker

Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Maintenance Services Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility/plant systems, equipment, and buildings.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including boilers, refrigeration plants, and pool equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial).
  • Fireman Boiler Operator certificate.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act.
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
  • Pool Operator certificate, where required.
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job.

  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Communication skills.
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently.
