Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Maintenance Services Worker to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility/plant systems, equipment, and buildings.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including boilers, refrigeration plants, and pool equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues.
- One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial).
- Fireman Boiler Operator certificate.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act.
- Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
- Pool Operator certificate, where required.
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Communication skills.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently.
