Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Lagreeco Inc is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct apprentices on the proper techniques and procedures for concrete finishing.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and extend their lifespan.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this position to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Sound discrimination is also essential for this role.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various environments.
