Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in data science, working closely with our Manager, Data Science. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gaining proficiency in exploratory data analysis and presenting insights
  • Preparing data sets for visualization and machine learning modeling
  • Training machine learning systems using data annotation and benchmarking techniques
  • Assisting colleagues in assessing AI/ML model performance and proposing paths for improvement
  • Creating data visualizations using industry-leading tools to summarize results for stakeholders
  • Documenting your results and telling the story of your work, successes, and lessons learned
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong foundation in statistics and analytical skills, as evidenced by coursework, projects, or research requiring the analysis of large datasets
  • Coursework in statistics, with a focus on applied statistics and probability
  • Prior exposure to a statistical or scientific programming environment, preferably Python, R, or PowerBI
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
