Job Summary

CIMA+ is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management team, you will provide expert advice on health and safety matters to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure Compliance with safety standards, laws, regulations, and policies
  • Advise on health and safety requirements for specific job sites
  • Develop and recommend preventive measures and instructions for construction sites
  • Manage an OHS advisor on site
  • Establish and maintain good relations with stakeholders to prevent accidents
  • Monitor construction sites through weekly inspections
  • Investigate near-misses, accidents, or incidents and recommend corrective measures

Qualifications

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS), University degree, or relevant OHS diploma
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in OHS
  • Experience in construction work and projects within an existing facility
  • Knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French
