We are seeking a Senior level (VP/Sr. Director of Sourcing and Production) to manage the sourcing strategy within the woven department for ladies' apparel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with new and existing suppliers, overseeing the costing and bidding process, and leading negotiation on price and delivery.
- Meet and engage with new potential vendors.
- Manage the bidding process across all vendors.
- Oversee the onboarding of new vendors.
- Lead negotiation on price and delivery.
The Senior level (VP/Sr. Director of Sourcing and Production) will also work with the production manager and import coordinators to ensure fit and PP samples are coming in regularly and on time, as well as ensure factory output per month is in line with our production schedule.
- Represent the production department within the Fit and QC teams.
- Oversee weekly production meetings.
- Oversee the weekly and monthly output per vendor to identify delays.
Qualifications include a minimum of 7-10 years experience in sourcing and production in ladies' apparel, exceptional negotiation, project management, and leadership skills, and prior experience in producing goods for large retailers.
