Culinary Artist for Ethic Foods

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Biryani House Arnprior Corporation. As a Culinary Artist, you will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and costs, planning menus, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. You will also prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure high-quality standards. In addition, you will train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, and manage kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
• Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and kitchen procedures

Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
• Physical stamina to work in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
