Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at ARCTIC LABOUR CONTRACTING LTD. in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and physically demanding conditions. The work site environment includes odours, cold/refrigerated, and wet/damp conditions.

Requirements
  • Food safety/handling skills
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Safety glasses/goggles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience an asset
  • Own transportation
