About the Role

The Senior Financial Strategist - North America will play a key role in driving the company's financial performance and strategy in the North American market.

Reporting to the Leadership Team, this executive will be responsible for leading the Finance function, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead the Finance team to provide high-quality financial analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions
  • Maintain a proactive awareness of the company's financial position and identify opportunities to optimize financial performance
  • Develop and mentor finance team members to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in finance and leadership
  • University diploma required, with an Accounting or Finance designation (CPA) preferred
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle accounting, finance, and business intelligence principles
  • Understanding of the banking environment and ability to source funds from chartered banks and other lending institutions
  • Bilingual French/English (written and spoken) required
