Job Summary:
Closets by Design Niagara is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Cutlist Specialist to join our team. As a Material Cutlist Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our cutlist process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Review: Conduct thorough reviews of sales designs to ensure compliance with our product offerings and installation requirements.
- Design Resolution: Collaborate with designers to resolve design questions and ensure seamless project execution.
- Cutlist Creation: Utilize CAD technology to create accurate cutlists that identify all parts and machining requirements for each project.
- Package Completion: Complete and submit cutlist packages in a timely manner, meeting company standards and efficiency requirements.
- Interdepartmental Support: Provide support to the Pricing, Production, and Installation Departments as needed.
- Quality and Productivity: Maintain a high level of quality and productivity, meeting or exceeding company standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Quality: Develop and implement a personal quality process to ensure all items required by the sales package design are included in the cutlist.
- Productivity: Achieve a minimum of $30,000 in jobs per day after three months of training, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a positive and proactive attitude towards meeting and surpassing customer expectations.
- Attendance: Maintain a strong attendance record, minimizing time away from work and adhering to departmental schedules.
Requirements:
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with computer usage and technology.
- CAD Experience: Intermediate or above experience with CAD software.
- Drafting or Design Experience: Preferred experience in drafting or design.
- Manufacturing Experience: Preferred experience in manufacturing.
Abilities:
Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
