Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Ready-Mix Specialist to join our team at Moncton Plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mix concrete to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure the vehicle is running efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation: Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls to process equipment and mix chemicals and cements.
  • Material Handling: Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and undergo regular security checks.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various locations as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working in dusty conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, teamwork, hard work, and patience.
