Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Associate to join our team at Acera Insurance. As an Insurance Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Client Executives to provide customer service support, including policy reviews, document processing, and communication with clients and underwriters.
  • Process policy documents, produce insurance certificates, schedules, and claims reports, and maintain accurate file documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
  • Alberta Level 1 License and a desire to obtain Level 2 in the near future.
  • CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards, is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
