Job Summary:



Sunwest Aviation Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Captain to join our team as a Lear 45 pilot. As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the Lear 45 aircraft, adhering to strict safety regulations and company requirements.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Perform all required duties and responsibilities associated with the Lear 45 aircraft

  • Strictly adhere to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations)

  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot

  • LR45 pilots follow a structured schedule of 12 days on duty followed by 5 consecutive days off



Requirements:





  • Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, along with a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required)

  • 3,500 hours Total Time

  • 2,000 hours PIC

  • 2,000hours Multi-Engine

  • 1,500 hours Multi PIC

  • 200 hours jet

  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience on the Lear 45

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service abilities

  • Possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Exhibit good organizational and time management skills

  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest's Safety Management System manual
