Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Field Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Canada Building Materials. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to monitor and record concrete and raw materials testing, applying statistical quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Product Promotion and Market Research: Promote value-added products and collect market and job information to support business development and growth.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and plan for the efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Third-Party Quality Control: Review and supervise the work of third-party Concrete Testing Services to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program or similar program, with fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks outside, including lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Driver's License: Valid G2 or G class license and ability to drive, with a clean driver's abstract.
