Cabinetmaking Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at KSJ Board & Cabinet Inc. as a permanent position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various types of wood and materials, utilizing their skills to create high-quality cabinetry.

The Cabinetmaker will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components. They will also use hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files, to shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces.

Additionally, the Cabinetmaker will trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints. They will sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cabinetmaking and hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. They must be accurate, organized, and able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The Cabinetmaker will be required to stand for extended periods. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits that include paid time off and professional development opportunities.
