About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Trend Hardwood Floor. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation for flooring.
  • Install carpeting on floors, using knee kickers and other equipment to stretch and secure the material.
  • Prepare detailed tenders and quotations for clients, outlining the scope of work and associated costs.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
