The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified CPA with 2 to 5 years of post-designation experience to join our team as a Senior Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a complex group of businesses, work on a broad range of financial tasks, and make an impact within a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee financial reporting, working paper files, financial statements, and tax returns for assigned companies.
  2. Lead process improvement initiatives and implement automation and AI-driven solutions.
  3. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff.
  4. Collaborate with the CFO to manage cash flow, acquisitions and disposals, and draft tax returns.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5).
  6. Prepare quarterly reports and documents for board meetings.
  7. Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support executive decision-making.
What We're Looking For
  • CPA Designation: With 2-5 years of post-designation experience, preferably from a public practice firm.
  • Broad Expertise: Experience with a variety of companies, preferably in family-owned businesses, and a strong understanding of tax preparation, financial reporting, and process optimization.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong Excel skills, and a passion for using technology to drive efficiency and accuracy.
