We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Assistant to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Kitchen Team: Provide support to the kitchen steward and other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Restock and Replenish: Restock and replenish supplies, including chemicals, paper towels, and other essentials.
- Participate in Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including plating and distribution of food for banquets.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure your workspace is clean and organized at all times.
- Collect and Dispose of Waste: Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the hotel.
- Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
- Certifications: WHIMIS 2015 / GHS certification is required.
- Language: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Teamwork and Communication: Proven ability to work well alone or as part of a team and excellent communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform other physical demands of the job.
