Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Golden BlueBirds Seniors Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our seniors, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our seniors.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional health.
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking, to help maintain mobility and flexibility.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment for our seniors.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely dosing.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a senior's condition, ensuring prompt attention and care.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
