Job Description for Food Service Supervisor
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and manage kitchen operations
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, and requisition supplies
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
  • Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen areas and organize buffets and banquets

  • Fast-paced environment with overtime required
  • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods
