About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Comfort Property Management. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting records.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting Systems
    • Set up and maintain accounting systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and maintain financial records for audits and other regulatory purposes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
