Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanic Technician to join our team at OPIS. As an Electromechanic Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and ensure proper functioning of processes
  • Execute preventive maintenance on equipment and handle corrective work
  • Report any anomalies or defects found on equipment and apparatus
  • Develop daily work schedules based on priorities, urgency, availability of materials and equipment
  • Perform modifications, adjustments, and repairs as required on equipment and recommend corrective actions
  • Verify and adjust, as needed, control points and alarms
  • Optimize the operation of various equipment and coordinate work with subcontractors
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records
  • Evolve maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electromechanics or Mechanics
  • Experience in industrial maintenance (water treatment equipment a plus)
  • Licence in Electricity (a plus)
  • Analytical and observational skills
