Job Overview

Evergreen Home for Special Care is a leading long term care facility in the Annapolis Valley, providing exceptional care to children and seniors. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

This permanent full-time position involves assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to improve, restore, and maintain residents' functional abilities. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve strategic goals and enhance resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to address resident needs
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Membership in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Proven clinical experience working with children and seniors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • CPR certification
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive environment.
