Maintenance Dispatcher

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Dispatcher - Operations Specialist to join our team at Northern Plains Transport Ltd. in Canada.

Northern Plains Transport Ltd. is a leading company in the petroleum industry, specializing in the sale, marketing, and distribution of petroleum products, equipment, and supplies to various customers across Canada.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

This role will involve working with our Dispatch, Safety, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and updating the automated Fleet Maintenance System
• Reviewing Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and identifying maintenance and repair items
• Providing support to drivers and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Dispatching drivers, equipment, and response personnel as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and data entry

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a petroleum dispatcher or similar position within the trucking industry
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) and ability to communicate in Bengali, Tagalog, or Hindi (asset)
• Experience working with transportation software applications such as Motive, Office Track, and Carriers Edge
• Technical skills and ability to learn third-party data systems
• Accurate typing and attention to detail
• A valid Class 5 Driver License, with a Class 1 license being an asset
