Job Title: Structural Engineer - Building Design Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Whitemud Ironworks Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for designing and developing building structures that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements
  • Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  • Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
