Job Summary

INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing is a leading Canadian company specializing in the design, build, and modification of high-quality luxury and security standard armored trucks, vans, SUVs, and limousines. We are seeking a skilled Welder and Assembler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for customized armored vehicle welding.
  • Perform welding of metal assemblies and modify customized armored vehicle welded components.
  • Inspect welds for quality and remove weld spatter.
  • Prime and seal welding spots.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and fully automated welding equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years' experience in armored vehicle and custom-made luxury vehicle welding, component design, and development.
  • Additional experience in an automotive OEM quality environment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards, including but not limited to ISO9001, VPAM, STANAG, health and safety, and other standards.

Working Conditions

8 hour shift, Full-time, $22.00 per hour.
