Job Summary
At EXP, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Civil Engineer/EIT to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for participating in design tasks, including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting, to design infrastructure projects such as watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, grading, and storm water management.
You will also support the design project manager in liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets, and oversee the documentation, review, and assessment of contractor's compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in design tasks, including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting, to design infrastructure projects.
- Support the design project manager in liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets.
- Oversee the documentation, review, and assessment of contractor's compliance with contractual requirements.
- Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor.
- Perform Contract Administrator and Inspection tasks in preparing various site reports.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
