Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at BNV Diesel Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 35 hours per week
