The Role

We're inviting applications for a Senior Java Developer position.

  • Extensive experience as a senior/lead Java Developer is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java programming language and Java EE technologies is required.
  • Proficiency in Microservices Architecture, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot is necessary.
  • System integration skills via REST API, SOAP, Kafka Streaming, MQ, Topic, MFTP, API Gateway, and enterprise service bus are also required.
  • Familiarity with Java EE environments such as WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic Application Server, and Tomcat is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of databases and SQL is crucial.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing highly available mission-critical Java EE n-tiers applications and Single-Page applications is desired.
  • Setup development environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, and Docker is expected.
  • Digital identity tool experience, including oAuth2, JWT, and SAML Security Specifications, is beneficial.
  • Azure and AWS cloud development experience is also preferred.
  • Agile methodologies for analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications in large complex environments are used.
  • Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methods and procedures are also employed.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design techniques, design patterns, JEE design patterns, and enterprise integration patterns is necessary.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practices in Java, JavaScript development is required.
  • Angular, React, JSF, and other UI framework knowledge is an asset.

Salary

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
