About the Role

Nedco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a diverse range of Datcom Structured Cabling Solutions and Products to primarily commercial construction clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Provide superior customer service by delivering products and services that exceed customer expectations.
  • Order Processing and Delivery: Process orders to completion and expedite delivery whenever necessary.
  • Collaboration and Support: Liaise with outside sales force and other employees in the execution of their functions, and provide sales support for field sales representatives.
  • Account Management: Ensure outside sales are provided with up-to-date information and developments regarding common customer accounts, and actively participate in developing new accounts, building, and generating quotations.
  • Project Management: Manage small, medium Datacom projects, and work effectively in a team environment collaborating with Outside Sales and Datacom Management on quotation strategies, project management, and customer service.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong customer relationships, driving value and loyalty, and actively engage Nedco resources and personnel regularly to provide a complete customer solution.
Requirements
  • Education: BA or Post-Secondary preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience in sales/sales admin, preferably in Distribution, Datacom/Electrical.
  • Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships, product and industry knowledge, Datacom and or Electrical, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a confident and determined approach, resilience and the ability to cope with rejection, self-motivation and drive, experience working with Datacom / Electrical Contractors, strong organizational skill set and ability to consistently re-prioritize based on new internal and external requests and opportunities, work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems, strong multitasking and time management skills, computer proficiency in a Windows environment, specifically Excel.
