Job Opportunity at Air Canada

As a key member of our Legal and Compliance team, you will play a vital role in supporting Air Canada's strategic objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced counsel to join our team in Montreal.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a variety of contract and strategic initiatives related to regulatory aviation law, competition law, trade and economic sanctions, anti-corruption laws, and international matters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement regulatory strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on complex legal issues and develop solutions to support business objectives.
  • Work closely with senior counsel and internal clients to understand the business and develop effective solutions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a major law firm or an established in-house legal department.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good business judgment, with the ability to assess legal risk and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
