Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at 1400188 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Plumbing Systems: Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Repair and Troubleshoot: Repair and troubleshoot domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Measure and Cut Pipes: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Estimate and Plan: Estimate costs and materials required for plumbing projects, and plan and coordinate work to meet deadlines.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced commercial or industrial environment, with regular exposure to physical demands and potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
