Job Description

Jellybean Park Playcare Inc. is seeking a motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team

As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre. You will work closely with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out educational programs for children
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Guiding and assisting children in developing essential life skills such as eating, dressing, and toileting
  • Preparing snacks and setting up rooms or furniture for meal and rest periods
  • Monitoring children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and reporting to parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Participating in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-6 months of experience in a related field or equivalent education
  • Certificate in Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1)
  • First Aid Certificate
