We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Cyclone Manufacturing Inc.
About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position working 34.5 to 46 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machines and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including CNC machines;
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables;
- Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers);
- Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks;
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs);
