We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Apple Hotel Group. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired color and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
