Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator H/F

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing various components of our VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Microsoft Server, and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement server infrastructure based on current industry and security best practices
  • Provide expert technical support with VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon
  • Manage and maintain server disaster recovery, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing
  • Monitor, perform tuning, troubleshoot, and resolve system problems to ensure system availability
  • Work with server patch management processes and procedures to facilitate deployment
  • Lead staff and organize work processes to accomplish department objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of recent and practical server administration experience
  • Minimum 5 years of recent and practical senior server administration experience
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft on-premise server design, implementation, and administration
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Cloud (0365, Azure) design, implementation, and administration
  • Proven proficiency in VMware vSphere design, implementation, and administration
  • Proven proficiency in Hyper-V architecture, design, and implementation
Working Conditions:

The resource(s) will be required to work and be located on site at Client's Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra). A valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License or equivalent is required.
