Pharmacy Career Opportunity with Horizon Health Network

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to contribute to exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in New Brunswick.

This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable pharmacist to develop and implement effective pharmaceutical care plans, participate in medication distribution services, communicate medication information to healthcare teams, lead pharmacy-based projects and quality improvement initiatives, supervise pharmacy technicians, and act as a preceptor.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement client-centred pharmaceutical care plans
  • Participate in the efficient distribution of medications
  • Communicate essential medication information to healthcare teams
  • Lead pharmacy-based initiatives and quality improvement projects
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians
  • Provide guidance and support as a preceptor
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Registration or eligibility for licensure with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists
