Project Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager at VIA Rail, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects, from conception to commissioning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, develop and manage project schedules, and oversee the execution of construction activities. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate complex project environments and drive results-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address project deviations
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Sciences, or Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering)
  • Proven experience in infrastructure project management, with a focus on rail transit infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented solutions
