Retail Store Manager

Close To Home Grocery & Deli is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
- Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales workers to duties, order merchandise, and authorize returns to ensure optimal sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Public transportation is available.
