Job Summary:

The Building Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our shopping centre or mall. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide basic information on facilities to customers and visitors
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
