The Department of Diagnostic Imaging, a division of Radiology at William Osler Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Associate to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coverage for the core imaging modalities of a busy community practice, including:
- MRI
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Radiography
- Fluoroscopic-guided procedures
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment to guide procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Provide excellent patient service and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a community practice setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
