At SAIDOKE BROS RENOVATION LTD., we are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, taking into account any obstacles or irregularities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and any specific requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a smooth and even surface.
  • Install carpeting and resilient floor coverings, ensuring a precise fit and a professional finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, using your expertise to restore them to their original condition.
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing any existing coverings and contaminants.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment, requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
